Řetězárna a.s. manufactures welded link chains from 3 mm to 60 mm diameter, including hoist chains (T8, T10, T, DAT, V), conveyor chains with attachments, forestry, fishing, snow and agricultural chains, and forged accessories such as hooks and connecting links. Its website states that about 85% of production is sold abroad, mainly to Germany, England, Poland, Norway, Italy, Spain, the USA, South Korea and Australia.

The company is headquartered in Česká Ves near Jeseník, Czech Republic, and states it employs about 225 people working in two- and three-shift operation. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications and a German BG product certificate for grade 80 chains. It is a member of the Moravia Steel group.

Its only listed open position is an electrician/electronics technician for repair and maintenance of electrical control systems and welding automatic machines, requiring at least an apprenticeship certificate and shift work. The company was founded on 7 December 1992 and is registered as a joint-stock company (a.s.).
