Rebellion

Rebellion is an independent entertainment company that develops and publishes video games, including the Sniper Elite, Zombie Army and Atomfall franchises, and publishes board games. It also runs comics and publishing businesses, including 2000 AD, Treasury of British Comics, Rebellion Publishing and Abaddon Books, as well as film and television projects.

The company sells games through platforms and its own online shop, which offers Steam keys and merchandise, and it produces comics, books and merchandise for fans. Its audience is gamers, comic and book readers, and viewers of its film and TV projects.

Founded in 1992 by brothers Jason and Chris Kingsley, the company describes itself as family-owned and says it employs more than 500 people across its UK studios and businesses. Its current job listings are for studios in Oxford, Warwick and Runcorn, covering game development, art, engineering and corporate roles.
