Paxton Access

Paxton designs and manufactures electronic access control, wireless door handles, door entry and video surveillance systems. Its products include the PaxLock Pro 2 wireless door handle and Solo, a phone-based, cloud-hosted access control system.

Customers include organisations in education, healthcare, retail, leisure, commercial and public sectors; the website names Manchester United, graze, Michelin, Sky Deutschland and Foyles among its customers. Systems are sold through certified installer partners, and the company offers free installer training.

Founded in 1985 as Paxton Automation Ltd (later Paxton Access Ltd), the company has its global head office in Brighton and a manufacturing facility in Eastbourne, with colleagues in 12 countries and exports to over 60 countries. Open roles include technical customer service advisors, a production test engineer, a manufacturing engineer and an inside account manager based in Greenville, South Carolina.
