Mendato

Mendato develops cloud software for commercial cleaning companies (Gebäudereinigung). The product combines time tracking with GPS check-in, drag-and-drop shift planning, invoicing with DATEV export, and controlling of hours and margins per site. Quality management, a customer portal and subcontractor billing are offered as additional modules.

Customers are commercial cleaning businesses. The software is sold by monthly subscription in packages based on the number of cleaners, from 99 € to 499 € per month net of VAT, with an Enterprise option for more than 100 cleaners. A 7-day free trial is offered, and the company states it charges no setup fee. The website cites over 500 cleaning companies as customers.

Mendato was founded almost ten years ago by Philipp Geimer and Atilla Eskicioglu. The company describes itself as bootstrapped, without investor funding. Its office is in Berlin-Friedrichshain, and the company states that its servers are hosted in Germany. Open positions listed are in Berlin: sales, marketing, full-stack development, customer success and an internship.
