Magentic builds AI agents it calls "Mages" or digital workers. They find savings in purchasing, check requisitions against existing contracts before purchase orders are issued, and enforce supplier terms such as price deviations and rebates after purchase. The site says they connect contracts, ERP systems, invoices, emails and spreadsheets into one procurement data model.

The stated customers are global manufacturers, with industry pages for consumer goods and industrial and manufacturing. The site lists case studies and a quote from Siemens Procurement, and describes the work as digital workers for direct and indirect spend. The company does not state its pricing model on the pages reviewed.

Magentic was founded by Robin Van Aeken and Odhran O'Donoghue and launched in July 2025, according to the About page. It lists a London HQ in King's Cross and a New York office, and says it is ISO 27001 certified and aligns with GDPR and SOC 2 requirements. The site reports an $18M funding round and lists nine open roles, mostly in London, across engineering, sales and operations.
