LESNÍ DOMOV ZLÍN

Lesní domov Zlín is a registered home with a special regime (domov se zvláštním režimem) for people with senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, generally from age 55. It accepts clients at all stages of the disease. Nursing and care staff are present 24 hours a day, medication is given according to a physician's orders, and daily activation programmes include reminiscence therapy, music therapy and memory exercises.

The customers are seniors with dementia and their families. The website describes a year-round residential stay, a key worker assigned at admission, and an individual care plan prepared with the client and, if they wish, the family. Visits are allowed daily from 8:00 to 20:00. The website does not describe the funding or payment arrangements.

The building in Zlín's Filmová street was fully reconstructed and opened as a specialised centre in 2026. It has 60 beds in 30 double rooms, each with its own bathroom and WC, a barrier-free layout from the car park to the bed, and a fenced garden. The website says families can enquire online or by phone, with a social worker contacting them within three days.
