Kläppen Ski Resort

Kläppen Ski Resort is an alpine ski resort in Sweden. Its website offers online booking for accommodation, ski passes, equipment rental, ski school, activities and spa visits, and it operates restaurants including Halster Bar & Bistro.

The resort is marketed mainly to families with children and to skiers. Its family weeks include free group ski school, equipment and ski passes for children up to 7 years old. The website also describes Kläppen Race Academy Ski Team, a post-secondary programme for FIS alpine racers that combines training with part-time work at the resort. Revenue appears to come from lodging, lift tickets and on-site services, but the website does not state this explicitly.

The website names Kläppen as Årets skidanläggning (Ski Resort of the Year) for 2026. It lists 41 runs and a snow guarantee for at least 16 of them on arrival day. Open positions for the 2026/2027 season in Sälen include bartender, cook and grill cook roles in Kläppen Restauranger, and a massage therapist and reception/accommodation staff role. The founding year and headcount are not stated on the website.
