KAVAN Europe

KAVAN Europe s.r.o. runs the KAVAN RC brand, which sells radio-controlled model aircraft, helicopters, cars and boats. The range also includes motors, speed controllers, batteries, chargers, radio equipment, servos, propellers, spare parts, paints, adhesives, balsa and other modelling materials, and tools.

The customers are hobby model builders and pilots. The website has a catalogue section, a "where to buy" page and a B2B section, which suggests sales through retailers as well as direct channels. The website states that the products are made in Germany, the Czech Republic and other European countries and are supplemented by selected products from elsewhere.

The KAVAN brand history on the website starts in 1965, when Franz Kavan began developing accessories for model aircraft. In 2003 the brand was acquired by SIG Manufacturing Company Inc., USA. In 2019 the Czech company PELIKAN DANIEL took over the business, and in 2020 assembly and packaging were moved to Pardubice in the Czech Republic.

Product: Radio-controlled model kits, ready-to-fly models, electronics, motors, batteries, spare parts and modelling materials sold under the KAVAN brand.
