Festada develops a herd management application for livestock breeders, offered as a web version and the Festada connect mobile app, which is linked to the Portál farmáře reporting portal and can read animal identifiers via Tru-Test readers. The company also runs an e-shop selling animal nutritional supplements and Datamars livestock technology, and offers consulting on designing and supplying precision farm technology.

The customers are livestock breeders, with the product originally built for sheep and goat keepers, in Czechia and Slovakia. Revenue comes from the online shop and from technology solutions and advisory services; the website does not describe a subscription or pricing model for the app.

The idea dates to 2018, when founder Dominika Sokolová needed a tool for animal record lookup, and the company Festada s.r.o. was founded on 27 March 2021 with its headquarters in Hlubočky. The website does not list open positions or offices outside the Czech Republic.
