Druhá Poběžovická

Druhá Poběžovická s.r.o. is an agricultural company farming 2324 ha in the Domažlice district of the Plzeň Region. Its main activities are crop production (wheat, rapeseed, barley, silage maize, spring grains, mustard and peas) and pig breeding, with a smaller beef cattle herd kept without market milk production.

It also provides agricultural services such as sowing, crop spraying, harvesting and transport, and performs complete repairs of agricultural machinery. The company operates a public diesel filling station with an attendant and publishes a price list for pig sales (including pigs for home slaughter), field services and transport. Its revenue therefore comes from farm produce and fee-based services.

The website traces the company to 1998, when Druhá Poběžovická, a.s. was founded as a subsidiary of Poběžovická, a.s. It was renamed Druhá Poběžovická s.r.o. effective 1 January 2025, after a 2024 merger in which AGRO Poběžovice s.r.o. and the company were merged into Farma Berounka Alpha s.r.o. The company states it employs 31 people, with its office, technical staff and machinery garages based in Poběžovice.
