databazeknih.cz

Databáze knih is a Czech-language online book catalogue where users look up books and authors, rate and review titles, and keep personal reading lists. The site also includes a bazaar where users buy and sell books from each other, a literary news section, and a promotion of free ebooks.

Its audience is readers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Registration is free and the site is funded by advertising banners; a paid DK Premium membership removes the banners and adds features such as statistics, a dark mode and exports.

The site was launched on 8 December 2008 by its founder Daniel Fiala, who also runs it, and it marked its fifteenth anniversary in December 2023. The website states that it receives about 100,000 visitors per day on average and describes itself as the largest Czech and Slovak book database. No office locations or hiring information are given.

Product: Online book database with reader ratings, reviews, personal reading lists, a user book bazaar and news from the literary world.
