Coup

Coup (GetCouped Technologies GmbH) provides software and consulting for applying for the German R&D tax grant (Forschungszulage). Its platform covers cost tracking with time recording, AI-based data extraction from invoices, imports from Personio and DATEV/ADDISON, and annual R&D reports for tax offices.

Customers are startups and companies that claim the grant. Coup's pricing page states a fee of 10% of the grant amount, payable only when the payout is successful. The platform is used together with Coup's R&D consultants, and the company says software-only use is not offered.

Coup was founded in 2021 and is based in Berlin. The website states that it has supported more than 250 companies and reports a 95% approval rate. Open roles listed include R&D consultants, a sales development representative and an account executive.
