BETAMONT

BETAMONT develops and delivers intelligent transport systems for road and rail. Its offering covers digital traffic systems for cities and municipalities, railway signalling and diagnostics, and highway information and tunnel technology. It also manufactures steel structures such as a railway gantry for pantograph damage detection, and holds the Measure-in-Motion® trademark.

Customers are infrastructure owners and operators, such as road and rail authorities and municipalities. Revenue comes from project delivery, installation, manufacturing and service, and the site advertises 24/7 service.

BETAMONT s.r.o. was founded in 1992 in Zvolen and traces its roots to the Návestné dielne Košice, established in 1920. In 2014 AZC a.s. and the WOOD & Company investment group became partners. The website cites solutions in 13 countries and 1500+ completed projects. Recent work includes technology for the longest road tunnel in Slovakia on the D1 motorway. It also organises an international railway signalling and telecommunications conference. Open roles are a system technician/engineer in Zvolen and an electromechanic/electrical technician in Žilina or Košice.
