AnyVan

AnyVan is an online marketplace for van removals, furniture courier, man-and-van, car transport and storage services. Customers get an instant online quote, and AnyVan matches them with a vetted local transport team and manages the move through to delivery. The company says it fills the empty return journeys of its transport partners to offer lower prices.

Its customers are private households and businesses moving items within the UK and across Europe. Quotes are based on distance, inventory, team size and van size, and storage is priced by unit size and duration with collection and redelivery included. The website also names retail and marketplace brands such as eBay, Vinted and Rightmove among businesses it works with.

The company was founded in 2009 by Angus Elphinstone, who is listed as its founder and CEO. Its registered address is in London, and it states that it has offices in London, Cape Town and Bogota and operates in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. The careers page reports 400 staff, and current openings include sales, operations, customer service and marketing roles.
