The customers are parents of children aged 0 to 12, who buy directly through the online shop as single sets or bundles. Shipping is by DHL within Germany and to Austria, and the company announced refill packs for later.

The company was founded by Leonie and David, who are parents. Their earlier company, 12minutes.de, developed an online first-aid course for parents with emergency physicians, which the website says more than 400 doctors and midwives recommend. ouchie is designed in Berlin, and its open role is a Business Development Manager Retail position based in Berlin.
